Career: Managed domiciliary care services since 1992; Director of Assured Care for 10 years; Worked in the nursing and residential care industry since 1985 (St. Ronans Care Home); HDCP Executive Committee member and Portsmouth Area Representative since 2009.

Staff Qualifications

Registered Managers are trained to Registered Managers Award, NVQ IV or similar as a minimum

Coordinators are trained to level 3 as a minimum

Care Support Workers are supported and encouraged to become Level 2 qualified and progress on to their Level 3 or higher.

All staff are encouraged through the training and development programme to gain as much knowledge, skills and qualifications as is appropriate and necessary.
